Arvet Heritage, 100% Organic Norwegian Lamb's Wool Blanket - Kerstin Landström Design
Designed in Rattvik, Sweden by Kerstin Landström Design
Thanks to their beautifully decorated banquet halls, seven of Sweden's health resorts have been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 2012. The ARVET wool blanket was nominated for the design award "Formex Formidable" in 2014.
The pattern is inspired from a standard painted wallpaper that can be found in several of the world heritage farms, including Gästgivars in Vallsta. Many of the decorated Hälsingegårds were painted by painters from Rättvik in Dalarna, which is why the same pattern can also be found on several Dalagårds, including Matsgården in Östbjörka outside Rättvik.

Use & Care:
Wool is dirt-repellent and has a self-cleaning property that means that you should not wash wool products too often or unnecessarily. Wool does well to be aired often, preferably in damp weather. The blankets can be washed with wool detergent by hand or on a wool program in a machine at 30 degrees. Squeeze the blanket semi-dry or spin briefly, stretch the blanket and then dry it airy.
