The Dalahästen has existed since the 17th century and is the most common symbol of Sweden and Swedish commoner culture. Kurbit painting emerged in Dalarna at the end of the 18th century and was common on both furniture and walls.

Wool blanket DALARNA is inspired by Dalarna horses, kurbits and the ribbons found on Dalarna's beautiful folk costumes.

  • 100% Norwegian organic lamb's wool
  • Size 130 x 185 cm 4.6' x 6' approx.
  • Three colors with black, red or blue base color
  • Also available as a children's blanket and seat pad

CARE: Wool is dirt-repellent and has a self-cleaning property which means that wool products should not be washed too often or unnecessarily. Wool feels good from frequent airing, preferably in damp weather. The blankets can be washed with wool detergent by hand or on a wool program in a machine at 30 degrees. Wring the blanket semi-dry or spin briefly, stretch the blanket and then air dry it.
