Blanket: BLÅKLINT Wool

The BLÅKLINT blanket is a soft, warm, and durable blanket made from 100% Norwegian organic lambswool. It is inspired by a hand-printed wallpaper in ultramarine blue that is often found underneath all layers of wallpaper in old houses in Sweden. The blanket is also inspired by stencil paintings on the 18th-century farms Vallhovs säteri and Landsberga kungsgård in Uppland, Sweden.

Blåklint is the landscape flower of Östergötland, Sweden, and the blanket is named after this beautiful flower. The blanket is a beautiful and functional addition to any home. It can be used as a throw blanket on the couch or bed, or it can be used as a blanket to cuddle up with on a cold night.

The BLÅKLINT blanket is also a sustainable choice. Norwegian organic lambswool is a natural and renewable resource that is produced in a sustainable way. The blanket is also made in Europe, which helps to reduce its carbon footprint.

CARE: Wool is dirt-repellent and has a self-cleaning property which means that wool products should not be washed too often or unnecessarily. Wool feels good from frequent airing, preferably in damp weather. The blankets can be washed with wool detergent by hand or on a wool program in a machine at 30 degrees. Wring the blanket semi-dry or spin briefly, stretch the blanket and then air dry it.
