Anniversary Series Swedish Dala Horse "Anders" Grey Horse with Green, Red, White, & Yellow Kurbits.

Made by Grannas Olsson in Sweden for their 100-year Anniversary, along with the Wine Colored Marie Swedish Dala Horse. The horses Maria and Anders are named after the founders of the company. They have a matte finish.

Swedish Dala Horses are hand carved, and hand painted in Sweden. No two are exactly alike and the decorations and colors vary with each horse.

Size is 17cm or approximate 6.5" tall from the feet to the tip of the ear.

A Dala horse named “Anders” .

First of all, I’m very happy with this purchase! Not only because my name is also Anders, but I like to support him the community in Dalarna, who still make these amazing horses. I am somewhat disappointed and disgusted that there are fake Dala horses on the market in a Scandinavian gift shop, here in Oregon, likely made in China.. My wife and I visited your beautiful town a number of years ago, and I wish that I had found your shop.. Maybe next time!
