Sörmland
Blanket in OEKO-TEX-certified® lambswool. Soft quality that lasts a lifetime.
The name comes from the province of Södermanland, or Sörmland as it is often called in everyday speech. There are two of Sweden's oldest folk costumes, the Vingåker costume and the Österåker costume, which are still in use. The formal costumes look more or less the same as they did over three hundred years ago.
The embroidered bodices, aprons and waist belts have inspired the pattern for the wool blanket Sörmland with their colours and details.

The blanket is made from wool from New Zealand from breeders licensed in accordance with Wool Integrity NZ.™ This means that the wool comes from sheep that have been treated well and are not exposed to mulesing, and that the breeding takes place with respect for both animals and nature. The blanket is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. The OEKO-TEX certification means that the blanket is tested against over 100 harmful substances and meets high health safety requirements.
