Crafted by designer Maud Ån, the Sälenhästen celebrates the ski village of Sälen in Dalarna—the ancestral home of the Dala horse tradition. Distinguished by its hand-painted cloudberry motif, each piece is individually numbered with its year of manufacture. This exclusive design gained international prominence when presented as a wedding gift to Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel by Malung-Sälen municipality in 2010, embodying both regional heritage and Swedish craftsmanship in a single iconic figurine.

All horses are measured from the ground to the tip of the ear.

Dala horses are hand carved & painted wooden horses imported from the Dalecarlian region of Sweden. Every Dala horse is unique in its own way since they are traditionally carved and painted.
