What is a Julbok?

The Julbok (Yule Goat) is a traditional Scandinavian Christmas figure that predates Santa Claus. Historically woven from straw and tied with red ribbon, the Julbok remains a standard Swedish Christmas decoration. Our Straw Julbok is handcrafted in Sweden.

Are figurines safe for children?

Most are display pieces — not toys. Small parts, fragile finishes. For children, plush and picture books are a better fit. Individual product pages note age-appropriateness.
