A clean white base with the full multi-color kurbits (floral folk-art) painted across the saddle and harness — the Nils Olsson version of the white Dala horse. Hand-carved from Nusnäs pine, sanded to the smooth Nils Olsson finish, and hand-painted in the workshop founded in 1928.

The white horse reads cleaner and more contemporary than the classic red, and pairs naturally with minimalist Scandinavian interiors. Because the painting is done freehand, every piece carries a slightly different version of the pattern. No two are alike.
